    Top Teacher Site IconI would like to share with you another "outstanding teacher site", created by Mr. Jim Woolley a Social Studies teacher in the Pioneer Central School District. 
     
    Mr. Woolley's website is an exceptional resource for students as well as a role model for teachers.  To showcase the depth of this website, I have taken an excerpt from the "How to use this Webpage", which fully outlines all the resources available for both parents and students.

    Daily Team Homework - To view what is the homework on the team for any given day click on the CALENDAR option from the sidebar and then click on the specific day in question.  The screen that pops up will list the homework for that day.  The daily homework list will be uploaded to the webpage by approximately 2:00 pm each day.
     
    USES FOR STUDENTS:
    Organization - The main purpose of my webpage is to help keep you organized and focused for the upcoming school year.

    Unit Specific Links - Each unit will have its own link where you can print off homework worksheets and many other things that you will need for class.  This will be great if you lose something.
    Class Readings - Electronic copies of in class readings can be found here with some podcast readings.
    Study Notes - Each unit will have a set of study notes available.
    Class Lectures - Podcast lectures can be found here listed by topic and date. 
    Review for Exams - You will find review sheets, web sites, and practice questions that will help you prepare for unit exams, the mid-term and final, and the 8th grade NYS social studies test.
